If you are the sort of person who is in 8th grade than have I got the event for you. We are, in fact, having an 8th grade retreat.

What?:: A weekend away with the rest of the 8th graders at an awesome place with pond swimming, zip line riding, fire roasting, and blob jumping. You guys will work through three sessions about moving into h.s. and different issues students usually face in that transition
Where?:: High Hill Christian Retreat center in High Hill MO (for more info and directions visit www.highhillcamp.org)
When?:: Saturday Aug 7th through Sunday Aug 8th
We will meet at the church at 3pm Saturday and will return 6pm sunday. Sunday evening we will have a family BBQ from 3pm to 5pm. All of your families are invited to this bbq, but if they cannot we will be back at the church at 6pm

NOTE-Sunday afternoon, we will be having a family BBQ and Swim Time in the Lake. Your entire family is invited to this event at no additional cost, but you NEED to let us know how many will be attending so there is enough food and such.
ALSO-Families will be free to take their student home after food and swimming from the retreat center, but if your family cannot attend we will be back at the church by 6pm on Sunday evening.

I had signed up that the other 4 members of our family would come to the barbecue for tomorrow afternoon. Due to several things that have come up that we need to do tomorrow afternoon, we will not be able to attend the barbecue. We will pick Lauren up at the church at 6 tomorrow evening.
